No joking here, just some beautiful and brand-new pieces from terrific Heath Ceramics, part of their new Summer Seasonal collection. Still handmade in Sausalito, CA, as it has been since Edith Heath founded the company in 1948.
I love the new runner by the Philadelphia textile designers Galbraith & Paul and the contrast of the new Heath color, California Poppy, with that robin's egg blue.

Even though I'm always a sucker for all pottery and ceramics (I loved working on the wheel back in the day), the Heath bud vases have long been on my favorites list.

They epitomize what good design should be: simple form + understated function. And a beautiful palette always helps.
